This pond was built to carry timber from the upper reaches of the Toyohira River and store it there.
The cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves add to the picturesque scenery.
You can see ducks in the pond, and in winter you can find animal footprints.
There is a walking path surrounding the pond, allowing you to enjoy the view from various angles.
