Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara is a world-class concert hall with acoustics designed to bring out the best in the live sounds of musical instruments, and it features two halls, one large and one small, with different personalities.
It has also been selected as one of the Acoustic Engineers and Designers of Japan's "100 Best Halls."
On concert days, the terrace restaurant is open, where you can enjoy a leisurely meal while watching the park scenery change with the seasons.
The straight road leading to Kitara in Nakajima Park is the former site of a horse racing track.
