A space where you can feel the charm of the history and culture of the Ainu people.
Ainu patterns are painted on the ceiling, and in addition to the presentation using sound and video, you can also see up close the beauty and strength of works by Ainu craftsmen and designers. It also disseminates familiar information such as weather forecasts in the Ainu language.
It was established by Sapporo City as a place to create an opportunity for citizens and tourists from Japan and abroad to deepen their understanding of Ainu culture, and to disseminate information about Ainu-related facilities in Hokkaido.
