A place of relaxation for Sapporo citizens, just a short walk from the main gate of Hokkaido University.
On sunny days, it is a place where all kinds of people come to relax, such as people eating here, people relaxing and lying around, and children running around on holidays.
There's a reason it's called the "central" loan even though it's on the southern tip. It is still called the Chuo Loan because it was the path that led to Hokkaido University's roots in the Faculty of Agriculture.
The famous Clark bust and Koga Auditorium are also nearby, so it is recommended to take photos while walking.
The river that flows nearby is called Sakushkotoni River in Ainu language. Please look into what it means.
