A church built in 1919. As a Catholic church, it is a traditional wooden one-story building with beautiful Romanesque architecture.
The foreigners who came to Japan to promote Western-style town development passed on many Western techniques and cultures to the people of Sapporo.
During the Showa era, the church had a history of development centered on Kita Ichijo Church through missionary efforts such as aid, relief, cooperation in screening movies of martyrs, and theater.
